Cheryl Cole To Take Career Stateside?

Digital Spy reports rumors that Cheryl Cole is attempting to launch her music and TV career in America has been fuelled after she was spotted at Los Angeles Airport.

It has been circulated that the X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer was due to meet music mogul Simon Cowell, who is reportedly hoping to help launch her career in the States.

Sunday Mail reports that Cole was spotted having dinner in London with top American media movers and shakers after being introduced by Cowell. He has vowed to make her a star across the Atlantic, and could potentially recruit her to his American Idol show.

A showbiz insider said: "Simon has introduced Cheryl to some of the major players in the US entertainment industry. Americans love British people and she has been told she has a real chance of success. Simon has put her in contact with the people who can open a multitude of doors for her."
