Cheryl Tweedy Wants Her Divorce Official

British recording artist and X Factor judge Cheryl Tweedy is attempting to to end her marriage quickly and sources are claiming that it is to prove her love for Derek Hough.

Since Cheryl has been battling malaria, she missed the deadline to file her divorce papers. She wants to make sure that she can make the divorce official before being open about Derek, according to Zmarter Gossip.

Cheryl doesn't want to be disrespectful to her ex-husband Ashley Cole, even though he has been spotted with several other woman.

Cheryl married Ashley, a Chelsea and England football player, in July of 2006. They announced their separation in February 2010 and Cheryl filed for divorce in May. The papers were never finalized due to Cheryl's hospital trip.

On July 3, Cheryl was admitted to the hospital after a visit to Tanzania, where doctors believe she contracted the malaria from. Cheryl went on the trip with Derek, which made Derek very guilty and upset that he did this to her.

Cheryl and Derek met on the set of her music video, "Parachute," and have been very close since. Derek is known for being the older brother of Julianne Hough and for his dancing on Dancing With The Stars.
