Chris Bosh Narrows His List Of NBA Teams To Five

Will Chris Bosh end up with LeBron James or Dwayne Wade?

Rumors will fly this summer about where the premier NBA free agents will land, but one thing is for sure, Chris Bosh is only landing in one of five places.

Being a perennial star, Bosh has the luxury of choosing where he’s going to play, presumably for a max contract. And sources told ESPN’s Chad Ford on Friday that Bosh narrowed down his choices down to five: the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat or returning to the Toronto Raptors.

The Knicks and Heat look to be the most likely, but those options will hinge upon where LeBron James goes. It’s no secret Bosh wants to play with James. If LeBron lands in New York, there’s a high possibility we could see Bosh join him. On the other hand, if James decides to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the possibility would be strong Bosh could join Dwayne Wade in Miami.

Breaking down the other options, the Lakers don’t have cap room this summer. In order to get Bosh on their team, they’d have to do a sign-and-trade for him. Bosh apparently likes this option, as he gets an extra year on his contract and can make the most money this way.

The Raptors seem the least likely to get Bosh, as he’s been sending signals that he doesn’t want to return there such as asking all his Twitter followers where he should sign next.
