Chris Brown bothered by episode of Oprah Winfrey Show in support of Rihanna

Chris Brown had hoped that the talk show host would extend a hand to both him and Rihanna, but Brown is not against seeking help for himself.

While still a supporter of Oprah Winfrey, Chris Brown was still upset by the segment she did on abuse that was inspired by the plight of singer, Rihanna. According to Mercury News, he said that he commended Oprah for bringing the issue to the attention of her viewers. "But it was a slap in my face," he was stated as saying. Brown said that he had done a lot for Winfrey and hoped that she would have thought to help Rihanna and him. Mercury received word that a spokesperson for Winfrey said, "Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school but she takes domestic abuse very seriously. She hopes he gets the counseling he needs." The good news is that Brown is trying. From his interview with People, MSNBC gathered that the singer wanted to get in touch with his feelings and "find out what really transpired as far as [him] that night." Brown doesn't think that he has an anger problem but if counseling should prove otherwise, he hopes that he can use his dancing as an outlet.
