Chris Brown Brown Bides Time Best He Can

Chris Brown attempts to postpone trial

The Chris Brown trial just can't happen fast enough. Reuters.com reports that Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, has petitioned for the California Supreme Court for a delay of the court date until a ruling is formulated for his petition for police information.

The court is, as of yet, undecided for Brown's lawyer's request, which is for specific details of the internal police department's leak of the photos of the infamous photos of Rihanna bruised, bleeding, and broken. It is those photos which so firmly entrenched the public at large against him.

The court date was set for this upcoming Monday. If convicted to the full sentence, Brown will face up to 4 years in prison.

Brown has pleaded not guilty to the assault and threat charges he has received.
