Chris Brown Challenged to a Fight

Chris Brown's apology isn't enough for some people.

Chris Brown might want to step out of the spotlight for a little while.

According to Fox News, the singer has been challenged to a fight by Anthony Geisler, the president of L.A. Boxing. Geisler started a Facebook group, named "I Want to Fight Chris Brown," in hopes of getting Brown into the boxing ring to show him "what it's like to face a real opponent."

Earlier in the month, Brown was arrested due to a domestic dispute that turned violent. His girlfriend, Rihanna, suffered from the assault, giving her facial contusions and bite marks.

Brown has since made a public apology, in which he stated that he is seeking therapy to overcome his problems.

However, for the 45 people in Geisler's Facebook group, his apology would only be complete if he stepped into the ring with the boxing pro. The group also encourages those who sign up to be next in line to fight the singer, as a method of revenge for Brown's treatment of Rihanna.

Actor Terrence Howard stepped up to defend the singer last week, calling the incident "just life man. Chris is a great guy. He'll be all right. Rihanna knows he loves her. They'll be alright. Everyone has just got to get out of their way."

Soon after this statement, Howard backtracked and said that he had not realized the extent of the situation and called his remarks "insensitive."

Former singer and reality television star Aubrey O'Day also weighed in on the situation, defending Brown.

"You never really know what happens between two people, and until you do, you shouldn't judge," she told Fox News at New York Fashion Week. "I think it was wise for Chris to come forward and apologize, but we should just give them their space and let them figure it out."
