Chris Brown Makes Plea Deal

A plea deal was made today in the case of the felony assault and Chris Brown has pleaded guilty.

A last minute deal was made in the case of Chris Brown's felony assault case. The R&B singer made a plea deal to the judge and it was accepted. The deal consisted of Brown pleading guilty and serving 180 days of service in Virginia. Rihanna was present at the hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court today where she was expected to testify. The district attorney's office had subpoenaed Rihanna and everyone was eagerly waiting for her testimony about the incident that occurred between her and Brown in February.

However, she did not have to testify and the judge has ordered Brown to stay away from his former girlfriend. TMZ reported that Mark Geragos, Brown's attorney, had discussed the plea deal for his client in the judge's chambers earlier that day. When the hearing started, the plea was immediately announced. Further information on the additional details has not yet been made available.
