Chris Brown Refutes Larry King Video Clip

Chris Brown released a statement to People Magazine saying the 30-second clip published online, in which he claimed not to remember the Rihanna beating incident, was taken out of context.

Chris Brown released a statement on Monday saying that the online clip from the pop star's interview with Larry King, in which he supposedly told King that he didn't remember beating former girlfriend Rihanna, was taken out of context.

"Of course I remember what happened," Brown said in his statement to People Magazine, "Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur." In the interview with King, which will air Wednesday, Brown claimed to be "in shock" about what he did and said that the incident was not representative of his true character.

Even though Brown, in an interview with People Magazine, claimed that he was still in love with the victim of his brutal abuse—pop singer Rihanna, 21—he was spotted by journalists from the same magazine partying with his friends only hours after his sentencing trial on August 25.
