Chris Noth Says No "Law and Order" Movie
Actor Chris Noth has insisted that there are no plans to take the Law & Order franchise to the big screen, and he feels this is for the best, WENN reports.
Apparently, the actor feels there are too many variations of the television show as it is. A member of the original cast in Law & Order, from 1990 to 1995, the actor also came back in 2005 for the spin-off version of the show, Law & Order - Criminal Intent. All spin-offs have been rather successful - with Criminal Intent and Special Victims Unit - and there are even plans to take the series across the pond for Law & Order: London.
With all of these variations - as successful as they may be - Noth feels a movie is the last thing needed. "The problem with Law & Order is that it's on three times a day, six days a week. There are three different shows," the actor explains.
Noth also quips: "I can barely watch it and I'm on it."
