Christina Aguilera is eager to marry boyfriend Matt Rutler

Only having finalized her divorce four months ago, singer Christina Aguilera is already thinking about marrying her current boyfriend Matt Rutler.

The singer, who announced her split from ex-husband Jordan Bratman in October after five years of marriage, met Rutler in 2010.

“Christina is telling us that she’d love to marry Matt,” a friend revealed. “She’s absolutely consumed with him and can’t stand to be apart for a minute. She began talking about marriage within months of splitting with Jordan.”

While Aguilera is eager to walk down the aisle once again, her friends are trying to persuade her to hold off on marriage until Rutler is able to establish his career.

“Matt’s enjoyed the first months of their relationship, being wined and dined and flying first class and around the world,” the source explained. “But he’s not established in his career. He’s still so young and struggling to find himself.”
