Christina Hendricks made the moves on husband first

Christina Hendricks doesn’t like playing dating games and is a straight shooter.

The UK’s Daily Mail reported the Mad Men star was a little too forthright about her feelings for hubby Geoffrey Arend when she first met him.

The curvy actress said in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK’s March issue that she “freaked him out” a few weeks after they met by professing her love for him.

"I cracked it out in such a big way. I was like, 'You make me want to have a family.' I freaked him out a bit," she said. "Thank God I didn’t spook him enough to make him leave."

According to the New York Post, Hendricks knew Arend was the one the moment she laid eyes on him, which was at a party thrown by her Mad Men co-star Vincent Kartheiser.

"Geoffrey walked in and I was like, ‘Who is this guy?’" she said. "He had amazing hair and was all dishevelled. He was running late and everyone was waiting for him. He just came in with this very high energy. He was just charming, funny and very magnetic."

She added that she got Arend’s phone number under the impression they “could just be friends,” but “I immediately went home and Googled him."
