Cindy Crawford's 10-year-old daughter new face of Young Versace line

The daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber is following in her mom’s footsteps.

Kaia Gerber, 10, is making her modeling debut by signing on to become the newest face of the Young Versace advertising campaign.

Donatella Versace has said in a statement "Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps!” MSNBC reports.

Crawford seems just as on-board with her young daughter becoming a Versace model.

In a press release, she explains "I'm so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her,” The Huffington Post reports.

The Young Versace line is geared toward children aged newborn to 12-years-old. According to Fox News, the first boutique for the line has just opened in Milan, Italy.

Crawford used to be a muse of the late Gianni Versace.
