Claire Danes Is Just Like the Rest of Us: She Flies Coach

When Extra caught up with recent Screen Actors Guild winner for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries, Claire Danes, she admitted that she had to fly coach back to New York for the set of her upcoming Showtime series, Homeland.

Danes told Extra’s Adrianna Costa, “I'm flying tonight on coach. I know, I know I feel like I'm bragging now at this point. It's the only seat available, and I have to go back to work tomorrow morning. I get to shower in the hotel and then I go to set -- and act some more. We'll see how tomorrow's scene will be.”

Danes also told Costa that she was just “’moaning and groaning’ about her red-eye story to fellow SAG winner Alec Baldwin” and when asked if she ever wanted to go on Baldwin’s show, 30 Rock, she said, “Oh god, if they would have me, are you kidding? That would be rad! I love that show.”

I’m sure 30 Rock would love to have Danes on the show, but for the meantime, fans will have to wait for her upcoming show, Homeland.
