Clarkson Fires Manager
Kelly Clarkson had to do a lot of fighting to get her album "My December" to debut under her own terms. Mogul Clive Davis protested very publicly on the direction of the album. Although Clarkson's album has not been received well by critics, and she had to cancel her tour, it debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts this week, selling over 290,000 copies. Recently the original American Idol fired her manager after singing his praises in the liner notes of her new album. She wrote, "Thank you to my manager Jeff Kwatinetz for arguing with me and fighting for me! I hate 'yes' people, and you are far from that, always wanting the best out of me and for me. Sometimes I want to punch you, but most of the time you inspire me and make me laugh, because you are one of the most passionate and driven people I have ever worked with. Thank you for believing in me! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE WE GOT THIS RECORD OUT, HA HA!!" Kwatinetz was once engaged to actress Brittany Murphy.
