Classic TV Shows Come to MySpace
What is there to do if someone wants to relive the classic television shows they grew up watching, but don't want to fork over the hefty price to own the season set? Sony Pictures Television has launched what they call "The Minisode Network." The website is hosted by MySpace and features a selection of classic TV shows that can be watched in mini-format. The shows are cut down to about five to six minutes each, but the main point of the episode is still present and accounted for. The site features fifteen classic shows offering a few minisodes of each show, and they are expecting to have 500 videos available by the end of the year. Some of the shows that they feature are, "Charlie's Angels," "Dilbert," "The Facts of Life," "Different Strokes," "Fantasy Island," "Who's the Boss?," and "The Partridge Family." The shortened version of the show may not be ideal for the die-hard fan, but they are definitely good for a trip down memory lane. The web address for the site is myspace.com/minisodenetwork.
