Claymates Show Their Support
Clay Aiken's fans couldn't be happier for the singer, and soon-to-be daddy.
When news broke that American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken was going to be a dad, the initial response was one of complete shock.
But now, according to People, the "Claymates" are showing their support for the 29-year-old singer.
"OMG Clay Aiken is my Hero," writes one fan on claymaniac.com. "I love him and wish him the best of luck!"
"All I can say is 'Congratulations!' That is going to be one handsome and talented baby," said another.
Although some fans have their doubts, the majority of comments on fan sites and blogs are positive.
A rep for producer David Foster, brother of music producer Jaymes Foster, who is pregnant with Clay's child, confirmed the announcement on Wednesday.
