Season 3, Episode 5, “Yemen Party,” starts with Rallo playing in his bedroom. He is called to dinner and joins his father, sister and stepbrother at the table. Donna is nowhere to be found and dinner is not on the table even though it is 6 p.m., the family’s regular dinner time. When they realize Donna hadn’t made dinner yet, everyone irrationally overacts and trashes the house.
Donna walks through the front door to find a destroyed living room and questions her family. Donna explains that she was at a meeting for her women’s group, NAGS, or Nags Against Global Sexism. Donna told Cleveland that husbands should make the dinner every so often. Cleveland refuses to cook and takes the family out to eat instead.
After dinner, Donna and Cleveland get into another little argument about Cleveland's lack of appreciation for Donna and how unhelpful he is around the house. Donna vows that changes will be made in the household.
The next day, Donna heads off to another NAGS meeting and asks Cleveland Jr. to watch Rallo. Cleveland Jr. puts Rallo in a baby carrier to keep him under control. Rallo realizes that they can play Avatar this way, where he is in control of his brother’s body.
Meanwhile, Cleveland is out at the bar with his friends and they all agree that their wives have gone out of control with their NAGS beliefs. The men devise a plan that entails one of them putting on a disguise and sneaking into the next NAGS meeting to morph the women’s values.
At the time of the next meeting, Cleveland dons a burka and assumes the role of “Fatima,” a woman who fled Yemen after her husband abused her. She told the group how rotten her husband was and how he took her children away from her. Fatima went on to explain that this story showed how good the U.S. women had it with their husbands. The women all agree with Fatima’s reasoning and Donna invites Fatima over for dinner, assuring that Fatima would love her husband, Cleveland.
The next night, Cleveland must play both himself and his alter ego, Fatima, at dinner. He plays it off by excusing himself and changing into the opposite role. He stages a conversation between him and Fatima in another room and then Cleveland goes off to a work emergency while Fatima remains at dinner with Donna.
Later on, the husbands get back together at the bar and praise Cleveland for his role as Fatima. Cleveland wants to continue exploiting his role as Fatima to get Donna to wait on him hand and foot. The other men warn that he could be going in too deep.
Meanwhile, Cleveland Jr. and Rallo hit the playground Avatar style. Rallo is able to take on the playground bully with the help of his older brother. All the children are glad that Rallo restored peace to the playground.
At the next NAGS meeting, the women planned a surprise for Fatima. They blindfold her and take her to a plane waiting to fly off to Yemen. The women have prepared for her to be reunited with her children.
Unable to extract himself from the situation, Cleveland flies to Yemen. He gets caught up with some other women and he is taken back to a palace, where he and his sister-wives must serve one husband. Cleveland must act as an unappreciated servant and he hates all the new tasks he has at hand.
Back in Virginia, Rallo is playing on the new, peaceful playground when the bully comes back. This time, the bully brought his older brother and he is prepared to fight Rallo Avatar-style. The two face off and ultimately neither Rallo nor the bully prevail. The two make amends and become friends.
Cleveland has an epiphany and realizes how poorly he’s treated Donna. He reveals to his “husband” that he is actually a man and he is released. He travels back to Virginia and when he gets home, he immediately tells Donna that he loves and appreciates her. However, he still refuses to cook dinner.
