Clinton Wants to Return to the Issues

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton says she wants to bring the democratic campaign, "back to the issues that are important."

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton says she wants to bring the democratic campaign, "back to the issues that are important." She is sure that her opponents Barack Obama and John Edwards will agree.

Clinton admits that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, may have gone too far in criticizing Barack Obama this week on the campaign trail. Bill Clinton himself admits that he may have gotten "carried away."

Obama has made complaints about Bill Clinton's comments; particularly one where Bill Clinton insists that Obama's opposition to the war in Iraq is "a fairy tale."

Clinton's and Obama's campaigns have recently increased in their jabs at one another. They seem to have reached their tipping point this week, following the debate on Monday, where their attacks were sometimes personal.

Hillary Clinton stated on ABC's Good Morning America that she knows her husband is an advocate for her campaign, as are the wives of Obama and Edwards for their husbands. She said, "I think all of us just need to take a deep breath here because we know we'll have a united Democratic Party once this nomination is determined."
