Cohen arrives at London premiere of "Bruno" in bizarre outfit

At the London premiere of his latest mockumentary about a gay Austrian fashionista, Sacha Baron Cohen was in both character and quite the risque outfit.

Sacha Baron Cohen's now-infamous mockumentary, "Bruno," premiered in London, Wednesday, and, per his usual shtick, he made his appearance not only in character—a gay Austrian fashionista—but in quite the unique outfit, as well. An article from the Associated Press said that Cohen was sporting a variation of the uniforms worn by the Buckingham Palace guards, complete with a large bearskin hat, except his red waistcoat exposed his midriff and he was wearing tight leather shorts.

Will Pavia reported in an article for Time Magazine that Cohen had made his entrance in his skimpy outfit to the tune of "I Will Survive" being played by a chorus of trumpets, and was accompanied by other men in matching outfits. Given Cohen's reputation for his shocking antics while in character, Pavia noted that the crowd seemed "slightly uneasy, as if uncertain what he might do."

According to an article from Reuters, Cohen, apparently quite comfortable and in his element, cried out to the crowd, "This is the most important film starring a gay Austrian since 'Terminator 2'!"
