Colts Believe Experience Will Help Them Prevail in Super Bowl XLIV

The Indianapolis Colts have expressed confidence that their Super Bowl experience will provide them with an advantage next Sunday in Super Bowl XLIV

On February 4, 2007, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears by a score of 29-17 to capture the franchise’s second Super Bowl trophy and their first since Super Bowl V in 1970. Approximately three years later, the Colts are primed to make their return to the Super Bowl when they square off against the NFC Champion New Orleans Saints. For the first time since 1993 in Super Bowl XXVII between the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys, the #1 seeds from each conference will be playing against each other in the Super Bowl.

The Colts roster features several key contributors who played crucial roles in the franchise’s Super Bowl victory three years ago and the team believes that their big game experience will play a major factor on Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Super Bowl XLIV. Quarterback Peyton Manning was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLI while others such as wide receiver Reggie Wayne, running back Joseph Addai and safety Antoine Bethea were thoroughly productive as well.

In regards to the upcoming game plan for next Sunday’s game against the Saints, Colts head coach Jim Caldwell told the media, “We'll make some adjustments, it's not an iron-clad sort of routine. But overall we'll probably be fairly close to what we've done previously.”
