Comedy queen Tina Fey becomes a baby mama again, welcomes second daughter

The 30 Rock family just got a little bigger.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Tina Fey, the NBC hitcom's leading lady and pop culture comedienne extraordinaire, welcomed Penelope Athena Richmond into the world August 10.

The baby girl is Fey's second daughter with composer husband Jeffrey Richmond. Baby Penelope joins sister Alice, 5.

People reports that in April, Fey announced her pregnancy on Oprah and said that choosing the expansion of her family over her Emmy-winning comedy was an easy decision.

"My husband and I really decided that we felt rather than risk having 30 Rock end in several years and feeling like part of our family is missing that we were going to prioritize our family," she said.

Fey is expected to slip back into Liz Lemon's neurotic shoes sooner rather than later, as 30 Rock is set for a mid-season premiere.
