Conan to Move in With Fox?

It seems, after his battle with NBC, that late-night host Conan O’Brien is getting in with Fox network. Since his last show on Jan. 22, NBC has removed all photos and videos of O’Brien from their website, leaving many to wonder where he went.

It seems that after weeks of talking with the Fox network, O’Brien will be settling down with them but no specifics have been listed. Neither Fox nor anyone from O’Brien’s camp will divulge anything but generalities.

What is known is that O’Brien is selling his Central Park West penthouse in New York for $35 million. If he does sell at this price he’ll make a $25 million profit off it. Since he has been reportedly paying severance pay to his staff, he may need that cash until his supposed contract with Fox is finalized.

In terms of the deal itself, nothing is known yet except that some guidelines will be in place before O’Brien starts working there. The deal is more like two people going into business together rather than O’Brien just asking for a certain salary or Fox using a random figure hoping it’ll pay off, which has happened with other talk show host/network deals.
