Conan O'Brien hospitalized after sketch on 'Tonight Show'
Last night there was a repeat episode of the Tonight Show', due to the fact that its host Conan O'Brien was injured during the taping of the show yesterday afternoon.
Those in attendance at the taping said that despite O'Brien being transported to the hospital he was still in good spirits, making jokes and laughing about the incident.
O'Brien said joking after his accident that all he remembers is "enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice," as reported on RightCelebrity.com.
Reps for the show say O'Brien will return most likely to work on Monday. The taping that was supposed to air last night featured guest Teri Hatcher who has been training recently for a triathlon. The skit in which O'Brien was injured in featured him and Hatcher doing the events involved in the triathlon.
O'Brien smacked his head after falling at the end of the sketch, causing him to have a concussion. Hatcher told ETOnline.com, that "we did this bit and at the very end, when we ran in to cross the finish line, he slipped as he was crossing the finish line and hit his head."
