Conan O'Brien Injured on "The Tonight Show"
Conan O'Brien had a little accident on the set of "The Tonight Show" Friday night when he hit his head during a stunt.
NBC has not disclosed any information on the specifics of the stunt though O'Brien is taking the situation lightly. "Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice" O'Brien said in the statement.
O'Brien was examined at the hospital on Friday night and is expected to return to work on Monday.
The accident halted production on the show and a rerun was shown on Friday where the guest was Jeremy Piven. Friday's episode was supposed to include Teri Hatcher ("Desperate Housewives") and Seth McFarlane ("Family Guy").
A similar accident befell Brien's "Tonight Show" predecessor Jay Leno when the latter fell ill in May, leading the network to cancel two episodes of the show.
