Conan O'Brien Sustains A Head Injury

Friday "The Tonight Show" host was rushed to a local hospital after an accident while preforming a stunt for the show.

Talk show host Conan O'Brien was injured after hitting his head while doing a stunt on NBC‘s "The Tonight Show."

Sources say that O'Brien was hurt after running down a flight of stairs as part of the stunt. Friday he had to be transported by ambulance to the hospital.

NBC did not reveal the extent of the injuries nor did they say whether future show are to be cancelled because of the ordeal. Back in May when his predecessor, Jay Leno, fell ill two episodes of "The Tonight Show" had to be cancelled.

With his sense of humor intact O'Brien stated, "Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice," according to Associated Press.

The show that was supposed to have been shown would have included guests Teri Hatcher and the creator of "Family Guy" Seth McFarlane.
