New Show Premieres this Fall

Conan O’Brien debuted the name of his brand new show Wednesday. According to ABC News, O'Brien is calling the show, well...Conan.

He joked that the moniker was “...simple, [and] pure, like the man himself.” O’Brien’s new show will debut on TBS November 8, his first project since his departure from NBC back in January.

Part of that deal was the huge $45 million severance package -- $33 million for him, and the rest of the $45 million for his staff -- as well as the proviso that O’Brien wouldn't return to TV for 8 months; not that the break slowed him down any.

O’Brien was originally moved to a later time slot back in 2009 to make room for the Tonight Show’s new host Jay Leno. He reportedly criticized NBC about the time change and Leno’s version of the show, but it seems like he’s laughing all the way to the bank now.

O’Brien’s new show will premiere on TBS in the familiar late night time slot.
