Copperfield Facing Rape Allegations

Okay so let's see if David Copperfield can make rape allegations disappear. According to Fox News, a woman from Seattle accused the famous magician of rape while in the Bahamas. Since the incident allegedly occurred out of the U.S. she waited until she returned home to notify the authorities. Now the case is being handled by the FBI. They raided Copperfield's Las Vegas warehouse where he keeps tricks and magic memorabilia collected from his travels.

"If in fact those are the allegations, unfortunately false allegations are all too often made against famous individuals," David Chesnoff, Copperfield's lawyer, said. "But we are confident the investigation will conclude favorably. We are in touch with the investigators and are respecting the confidentiality of the investigation."

Copperfield is known for his magic show, which he performs at MGM Hollywood theater in six to eight week stretches at various times of the year.
