Cosby Family Pet Not Sharing the Spotlight

Actor's pup loses dog show.

E! Online reports that Bill Cosby's pooch, Harry, did not live up to his award-winning reputation, Tuesday at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show held in Madison Square Garden. The terrier, who is named after English prince Harry and whose full name is Hobergays Fineus Fogg, did, however, receive second place, after being defeated by Diamond Jim, the champion canine who beat him in last December's AKC/Eukanuba show.

Harry came into the contest as a favorite, scoring 57 best in show awards in 2006. He was even ranked the country's top show dog, but his chances of winning were quickly erased when he slipped on the carpet, a year ago.

Although Cosby's dog was the most well-known participant, other celebrity pets at the Westminster show included author of The Bone Collector, Jeffrey Deaver's Briard, Chance, which won for Best of Breed. Martha Stewart, Joy Behar and Greta Van Susteren also attented.

Harry has not entirely let the Cosby family down. The actor's six-year-old pup was the top ranked dog among 2,628 entrants in 165 breeds and easily scored a blue ribbon in the Best of Breed category before losing to Diamond Jim.
