Cosmo Apologizes to Scarlett Johansson
The actress is furious over misquotes.
Cosmopolitan magazine has offered an apology to Scarlett Johansson after the actress claims she was misquoted, reported the Guardian. Johansson was reportedly furious about the quotes put into the UK edition of the January issue of Cosmopolitan, which is on sale now. After threatening to sue earlier this week, the magazine issued an online apology, stating: "Cosmopolitan would like to apologise to our readers and Scarlett Johansson for inaccuracies in our January issue where we said she talked about her marriage and her relationship with her husband. We now understand Ms. Johansson has not commented publicly on her married life and did not do so on this occasion."
The issue featured Johansson on the cover with the title, "Scarlett: Why I had to get married." Parts of the feature have been reprinted using an earlier interview, but the quotes about husband Ryan Reynolds were added separately.
