Cougar Town Resumes Production

The comedy series will resume production on Monday and the schedule will not be changed

Cougar Town resumes filming on November 30, announced People Magazine.

The production had stopped after star Courtney Cox left to attend a family matter.

The production halted only briefly and "Cougar Town" co-star Busy Phillips said the show was down just one day, but media buzzed on the mysterious family matter Cox left to attend.

The ABC new comedy series' schedule will not be affected by the temporary production halt and filming will resume on Monday.

The family matter which Cox tended to has been kept private but Cox's representatives said everyone in her family were fine.

The series follows a middle-aged realtor who tries to re-live her "lost" years, as she became pregnant during her 20s and missed out on many experiences, while balancing her career, taking care of her teenage son, and handling her ex-husband.

The comedy show "Cougar Town" is currently showing on the ABC network on Wednesdays at 9:30 pm.
