Could Heath Have Been Saved?

Reports revealed that the actor might not have been dead for long when his body was found.

Initially, when Heath Ledger's body was declared dead it was believed he had been dead for at least three hours. But, the Melbourne Herald Sun has reported that according to the Emergency Medical Service dispatch report, at 3:28 p.m., it stated that the 28-year-old actor's "torso is warm."

The implication of a "warm torso" is that the Aussie had not been dead for long.

Furthermore, TMZ.com confirmed Monday morning that Ray Kelly, NYPD Commissioner, said actress Mary-Kate Olsen will not be questioned in Ledger's death.

Still, the masseuse that found Ledger's body in the Manhattan apartment spent around nine minutes back-and-forth on the phone with Olsen before notifying police. And with the recent announcement that Ledger had not been dead for long, those nine minutes could have made a difference.

An autopsy last Wednesday came up inconclusive as to determining the cause of the Oscar-nominated actor's death. It has been speculated that he died of an accidental prescription drug overdose.
