Countdown to Miss Universe

Contestants of the Miss Universe pageant were seen earlier on Sunday heading to a dress rehearsal at the Atlantis Hotel, according to the Associated Press. Many contestants stopped to wave to their fans.

Some of the contestants are quite nervous. In an interview with India Today, Miss India, Ekta Chaudhary, 23, said, "I fear that I'll fall on stage." Chaudhary said that her biggest threat is Miss France and that many of the women competing are very nice and pretty, but, "I am obviously a strong contender!"

Musical performances include Flo Rida, Heidi Montag, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. Although Montag is scheduled to perform, TMZ.com reported that she might not be able to handle the pressure.

The excitement will be shown live from Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas at 9 p.m. (ET) on Sunday on NBC. The pageant begins with the contestants in cocktail dresses, of whom 15 will return in bathing suits, and then finally, 10 will appear in evening gowns to answer the final questions from the judges.
