Creepy Wikipedia

Chris Benoit's Wikipedia entry was updated before anyone knew of the deaths in his family.

Wikipedia gets updated fast...sometimes a little too fast. In a chilling twist in the Chris Benoit homicide-suicide case, an unknown person altered the pro wrestler's Wikipedia entry to mention his wife's death hours before her body was even found. The always up-to-date online source was changed early Monday, saying that Benoit had missed a match over the weekend because his wife was dead. Hours later, authorities found the bodies of Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel. It appeared that Benoit had suffocated his family before hanging himself.Wikipedia's Cary Bass traced the update to an IP address registered in Stamford, Connecticut, home of the World Wrestling Entertainment headquarters. Bass, however, told the Associated Press it was unknown where the post was sent from because an IP address does not have to be sent from the same place it was registered. On Friday, Wikipedia, which usually allows users to add their own updates, locked Benoit's entry stating that "editing of this article... is currently disabled... due to vandalism".Information from People was used in this article.
