Cruise Returning to Oprah
Tom Cruise will be returning to the couch that he once jumped on and caused a media tailspin. That's right, according to the Associated Press, Cruise will be going back to The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Cruise is scheduled for a two-part show, starting on May 2, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his starring turn in Risky Business. The first episode will be filmed in Cruise's home, but the second episode, on May 5, will be filmed on Oprah's stage.
Three years ago, Cruise made headlines when he jumped up and down on Oprah's couch while declaring his love for his then new girlfriend, Katie Holmes. Holmes and Cruise were married in November 2006. Rumors of a rift between Cruise and Winfrey began, then, because Winfrey was left off the guest list for the wedding and parties that followed. However, it seems that they may have been just rumors since Cruise has been invited back to the show.
The special on Cruise will include segments taped from other stars talking about Cruise and his accomplishments, and a look at Cruise's personal life.
