Custody of Michael Jackson's Children Leaves Many Wondering
Michael Jackson's passing has raised many questions about what will happen to his three children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., 12, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael Jackson II, 7. According to ABC News, a custody battle over Jackson's children may be looming in the future.
The battle between Katherine Jackson, the late entertainer's mother, and Debbie Rowe, Jackson's estranged ex wife, may be taken to the courts if Rowe seeks custody of the children.
Judge Mitchell Beckloff of the Los Angeles Superior court, ruled Mrs. Jackson to obtain custody of her three grandchildren for the time being, but could be challenged if pursued.
ABC News reports that Jackson's will is expected to be filed in a California court this week. The will, may reveal his last wishes for his children. However, his last wishes may not be legally binding and only be seen as a factor in a custody battle if one ensues, California Attorney Gloria Allred told "Good Morning America".
Beckloff also named Katherine Jackson special administrator of Jackson's property, pending a hearing July 6.
