The CW network decided to give the axe to the Ashton Kutcher produced drama ‘The Beautiful Life'.

This is the first of the new fall season's shows to be cancelled, the CW only aired two episodes of the show. The series was a drama about young models living in New York City starring Mischa Barton.

As reported on LATimes.com, "TBL premiered to just 1.5 million viewers last week. Wednesday's episode was seen by only 1 million."

The CW has made no mention as to what will replace the cancelled show that ran Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. but they are eying new shows such as ‘Fly Girls' which is a reality show about Virgin airline attendants.

According to Tvovermind.com, "the main driver behind the CW's order to "Beautiful Life" was the similarity in setting with the network's veteran reality series ‘America's Next Top Model,' which served as its lead-in."
