'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' - July 26 (Video)

Last night’s episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart featured guest Juan Williams, journalist and author of Muzzled: The Assault of Honest Debate.

Jon Stewart opened the show with a discussion about raising the debt ceiling, and the resulting debate between the democratic and republican parties. Stewart also made time to mock John Boehner’s recent address attacking President Obama’s economic policies.

CNN anchor Don Lemon was the next target of hilarity, as a series of clips were shown of him displaying apathy towards insignificant segments on his program. It was a sarcastic attack on his interest in reporting on stories with substance, and appearing indifferent to fluff pieces, openly mocking them on television.

The guest for the night, Juan Williams, was present to speak on his new book, Muzzled: The Assault of Honest Debate. The focus of the interview was Williams recently being accused of bigotry, after commenting on racial profiling of people openly associating with Islam.
