Dakota Fanning Crowned Homecoming Princess
"New Moon" star Dakota Fanning has found the time in between starring in films and being a superstar actress to go to high school and be a regular teenager.
Fanning attends Campbell Hall Episcopal High School in Hollywood and participates in extra-curricular activities.
Friday night at the school's football game against Crespi Camelite High School Dakota was crowned Homecoming Princess in her cheerleading uniform. She received a sash, tiara and flowers and alongside her was football player (#47) who was named Homecoming Prince.
Fanning, 15, plays the role of the evil young vampires Jane in the "New Moon" film. Co-stars have given her the nickname "Evil Red Riding Hood". Usually, she is casted in more innocent roles.
Dakota will also appear in the upcoming film "Runaways".
The teenager's movie credits include "The Cat In The Hat", "I Am Sam", "War Of The Worlds" and "Man On Fire".
"New Moon" comes out in theaters Nov.20.
