DWTS Star Cheryl Burke Misses Opening Night Of Tour
Two-time champion and fan favorite on "Dancing with the Stars" Cheryl Burke, has fallen ill with a suspected case of appendicitis, according to a published report by TVGuide.com.
The popular dancer, who rose to fame as the partner of Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith, was taken to a local area Seattle, Washington, hospital late Tuesday, complaining of cramping and pain.
Burke, 23, planned to fly home to San Francisco, California, to be with her family and seek a second opinion.
Cheryl's tour partner Louis van Amstel told TVGuide.com that her illness and leave from the tour was a "disaster."
