Dancing With the Stars Competitor Hospitalized After Show
After a high-energy performance from the two-time "Dancing With the Stars" champ on Tuesday night, contestant Julianne Hough was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to People magazine.
The 20-year-old "was experiencing slight stomach pains all day that increased and the doctors thought it was best to have them checked out," her rep, Cindy Guagenti, said.
Guaganti also dispelled rumors that Hough collapsed during the show.
Earlier in the night, Hough performed her song, "My Hallelujah Song," twice while performing her dance moves with her brother Derek and dancer Mark Ballas. The piece was for a pre-taped segment to be aired later in the season.
There were no immediate signs of something bothering Hough during the one-hour live telecast. Hough performed an encore jitterbug with partner Cody Linley.
Her performances remained energetic and lively, and her encore brought the audience to their feet. 40 minutes after the taping ended, Hough was seen getting into an ambulance outside of CBS's Los Angeles studio.
Hough's rep did not release further details about Hough's condition.
