Felix Felicis apparently wasn't the only potion Harry Potter was drinking in the movies. Daniel Radcliffe, 22, told British magazine, Heat, that he sometimes came to work, the set of the beloved movie series, drunk. Radcliffe said it was occasional, and typically the result of previous drinking still affecting him, but drunk all the same. He does defend himself by saying adamantly that he never drank while at work.
Radcliffe told the magazine that he has an addictive personality, and that his drinking was a nightly habit. He said he can tell which scenes he was drunk for when he watches them. Radcliffe has since stopped drinking, saying “you either have to change something, or give in to that shame” People reports.
The legal drinking age in England is 18, so his drinking was legal at least. But since he turned 18 rumors have been abound about his drinking according to Hollywood.com. In his talk with Heat, he decided to be completely open and honest about everything.
Radcliffe has branched out from his wizardry roots, appearing on Broadway a few times, most recently in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and will soon be able to be seen in the movie The Woman in Black.
