Pumpkin juice wasn’t the only thing Daniel Radcliffe was drinking while on the set of Harry Potter.

Entertainment Weekly reported the 22-year-old revealed he would often shoot films for the hit film franchise while under the influence.

"I can honestly say I never drank at work on Harry Potter," he told the UK’s Heat magazine in its March issue. "I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I'm just gone. Dead behind the eyes."

And according to Us Weekly, the drinking wasn’t just a problem while he was filming.

"I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem," he said about his struggles with alcohol addiction. "People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I don't want to go into details, but I drank a lot and it was daily -- I mean nightly."

This isn’t the first time Radcliffe, whose new movie The Woman in Black premieres Friday, has talked about his problems with alcohol.

Last summer, he admitted his issues in an interview with GQ UK magazine’s July edition.

"I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff," he said at the time. "There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me."

However, he has been sober since 2010 and continues to make a big mark in the movie business.
