Daniel Radcliffe Is Getting Ready to Say Goodbye to 'Harry Potter'
When Daniel Radcliffe first donned the lightening shaped scar and circle-framed glasses synonymous with his character of Harry Potter he was only a boy of 11. Nearly 10 years later, Radcliffe, who is now 20, is having a hard time saying goodbye to the films that put him on the map.
The final installment of the Harry Potter movies will come in two back-to-back parts, the first hitting theaters in November of this year and second in July of 2011.
Radcliffe, who is currently working on the last film, told MTV “it will be very sad when it comes to a finishing."
Although he has accepted the series coming to a close, leaving the actors and set which Radcliffe has become so familiar with over the years, will be hard.
“I did have a moment the other day, in the makeup room that I have been in for 10 years now," he revealed. "I did walk in and go, 'Wow, this is [hitting me]. One day — in about four or five months from now — I'm gonna walk in here for the last time.'
The door may be closing on Harry Potter, but Radcliffe hopes that another will open soon.
"It's also very exciting [to be finishing the series]," he said. "And I'll hopefully have something to go onto shortly afterwards."
