Date time TV finally Seacrest-less

What will become of the Crest-Meister?

American Idol first brought us the blonde cheeky announcer, Ryan Seacrest, and though millions have flocked to his official web site, his syndicated TV series "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest" was just canceled.

The cancellation of Seacrest's show comes only six months after the show debuted in January. According to the Associated Press, "On-Air," which made its home in the very studio in the complex where the Academy Awards are presented, will be broadcast through Sept. 17.

"I am proud of my team, who worked tirelessly every day," said Seacrest in a statement. "I wouldn't have changed anything about this entire experience and I look forward to building my business within Twentieth Television."

While it looks like Seascrest is making his exit from daytime TV, he will remain as host of the Los Angeles radio show "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest," and with he weekly countdown show "American Top 40," and will return as host of "American Idol," which will dazzle views again in January for it's forth season, according to the Associated Press.
