Dave Grohl has lived many lives as a rock star and he isn't complaining. On Tuesday his latest side project Them Crooked Vultures comes out with its debut album. The band consists of Dave Grohl back on drums, long time friend and collaborator Josh Homme on lead guitar and vocals, and famous bassist of one of Grohl's favorite band's Led Zeppelin John Paul Jones on bass.

The band came together in the mind of Grohl, and it played out in the studio when then trio came together to jam. Then they went our tour trying out the material they laid down. Everyone was excited for this venture including fellow musicians. The band would debut on stage at the Metro in Chicago back in August. Then they tour the United Kingdom, first opening for the Arctic Monkeys then moving on to perform at Reading and Leeds festival.

The debut album features the single "New Fang", and the free download on iTunes, "Mind Eraser (No Chaser)." The album is a hard rocking escapade that covers all ranges of each three of the artists former bands with its own unique take on everything heavy and primal. Songs like "Warsaw" which reaches the seven-minute mark and is laced with exciting riffs and solos.

This supergroup is ready to take the charts, and ready to show these current bubblegum jerk-offs who rule the airwaves, what rock and roll really is.
