David Archuleta Releases New Holiday Music From The Heart
Singer David Archuleta's latest release, following his debut studio release last year "David Archuleta," is a holiday collection.
On his sophomore release, "Christmas From The Heart," the singer adheres to the traditional fare. Archuleta sings, with minute new vocal arrangements, songs that are familiar, and will all be surely included on many heavy rotated radio station holiday playlists this coming season. Highlighted is a duet on "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" with newcomer Charice Pempengco, an international track "Pat-A-Pan" sung both in english and french, and the spanish carol "Riu, Riu, Chiu."
Other tracks featured are "Joy To The World," "Angels We Have Heard On High," "O' Come All Ye Faithful," "Silent Night," "The First Noel," "O' Holy Night," "The First Noel," "I'll Be Home For Christmas," "What Child Is This," "Ave Maria," and original closing track "Melodies of Christmas."
Archuleta is the former 2008 "American Idol" contestant who achieved runner-up status to winner David Cook.
