David Beckham wants another child because of the number 7

David and Victoria Beckham welcomed their fourth child, Harper Seven, in July, yet the couple is already thinking about having another one.

“If we were lucky enough to have another one, it would be great,” David Beckham told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Friday, according to People magazine. “We always spoke about having a big family. We love children. We are very blessed to have four healthy children so if one comes along that would be amazing.”

USA Today reports the desire for another child stems from David’s special connection with the number seven. It is his daughter’s middle name and birth statistics, with Harper being born at 7:55 a.m. at 7 lb. 10 oz. in the seventh month of the year. It is also the number David wore when he was a member of the soccer team, Manchester United.

Another child would make David and Victoria Beckham a family of seven.

“What can I say?” he asked Ellen. “I love the number seven.”
