David Hasselhoff "fine" after shaving accident
The former "Baywatch" star is recovering after an accident at the gym.
David Hasselhoff, who spent 11 years saving lives as Mitch Buchannon on "Baywatch," found himself being treated after an accident at a London gym Thursday.
Hasselhoff was shaving when he accidentally hit his head on a chandelier, shattering the glass and severing a tendon in his right arm, said his publicist Judy Katz.
Hasselhoff spent one night at St. Thomas' Hospital to undergo surgery for his injury.
"He's fine. He's out of the hospital and will resume filming tomorrow," Katz said.
Hasselhoff is working on an ad campaign for British internet company Pipex, said Katz. In addition, he is featured in Adam Sandler's latest hit movie "Click" and is one of three judges on NBC's "America's Got Talent."
