David Spade has put his Malibu beachfront house on the market for $13.5 million.
The Los Angeles Times reports the 47-year-old comedian is asking for over a third more than the amount he paid for the property six years ago in 2005. He originally purchased the home for $9.3 million but has since remodeled it.
The 3,763 square foot two-story beach house, built in 1996, features four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, four fireplaces, a cylindrical staircase, hardwood floors, multiple balconies facing the beach, and a pool.
Spade first tried to sell the space back in 2007 for $16 million but that attempt failed. The listing agent for the property is Bryan Harper of Coldwell Banker’s Malibu Colony office, according to the Multiple Listing Services.
The Malibu beach house is located on La Costa Beach, while Spade’s current residence is closer to Carbon Beach.
Spade is not the only celebrity in the area trying to sell their home. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have been trying to sell their Malibu beach house for quite some time but have been unsuccessful. It is currently listed for $9.45 million. They previously listed it for $10 million and $9.5 million.
Spade is best known for his appearances on Saturday Night Live. He can currently be seen in CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement and in the film, Jack and Jill, which was released last month.
