Daytime Talk Show Host Planning Dream Wedding
Ellen Degeneres is planning to make it official with longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi.
The popular blonde pair are putting together the plans for a WE-worthy "Platinum Wedding," according to AP. Degeneres, who recently won her fourth consecutive Daytime Emmy, told AP that she and de Rossi are planning a virtual wedding extravaganza.
AP quotes the comedienne as saying, "Yes, we have set a wedding date. How do I feel about it? I obviously feel like it's long overdue. I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous that we don't all have the same rights."
Though there are no set plans yet, Degeneres and de Rossi are taking the steps towards planning their nuptials.
